Attention Bands: Want a free iPhone App?
BlueHaze, Inc. announced today that Recording Artists and Record Labels can now build customized iPhone Apps for free using its proprietary mobile application platform. The Artist apps are completely customizable and scalable, feature-rich, and ready in hours (full feature list below). Each app is monetized via ads, paid download or in-app purchases, with BlueHaze and the Artist sharing all revenue 50/50.
BlueHaze also operates a portfolio of iPhone app platforms specifically designed to produce apps for Venues, Tours, Festivals, Record Labels and Ticketing Companies. Android versions are in development now and will be in market shortly. The company is also working closely with several major record labels to create rich mobile gaming experiences that take advantage of the labels’ extensive catalogs.
Numerous partners are actively using the BlueHaze platforms, including: Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, EMI, Abbey Road Live, Ticketmaster, Madison Square Garden, Fuse TV, Noise Pop, Treasure Island Music Festival, and many more.
“We take a long-term partnership approach with all of our clients” said Mark Shedletsky, Founder and CEO of BlueHaze. “These platforms are just the starting point. We work closely with our partners to customize their apps to create a truly engaging and unique mobile experience for their audiences. Rather than charge one time set-up and ongoing usage fees, we prefer to help our partners monetize their apps and share in that upside revenue.”
In addition to its mobile app platforms, BlueHaze offers the only suite of integrated online apps for a true 360¡user experience. Online apps include: Social Networking(e.g. “Who’s going to the show”), Content Sharing(e.g. Comments, Tweets, Photos) and Fan Profiles(e.g. tour alerts). All online and mobile apps connect to each other and to Facebook and Twitter for cross-posting of user content into their existing social networks. BlueHaze clients can create and manage their integrated mobile and online apps in real-time via a proprietary client dashboard and powerful content management system.
