Each month we feature a new charity to share with our readers in hopes that they might donate to or at least spread the word to others for awareness.
To close out 2009 we decided to focus on a charity that focuses on the AIDS/HIV virus. Arc Ohiohas programs to help persons know their HIV status, reduce new HIV infections, and link those living with HIV to care, treatment, support and prevention services. The website is a fantastic source for those in several places in Ohio that are looking for testing centers and educational inquiries. Information on how to both prevent and live with HIV/AIDS is readily available on the website, so this information is not just limited to those who live in Ohio. However, there are plenty of volunteer opportunities year-round for those seeking to help in community events or the extravagant and unique such as the Masquerage in Dayton, OH…

Look, we do things randomly around here, so this charity feature will run with us until mid/late January. That’s how we roll.
