Fremont Solstice Parade 2009
Like last year, I’ll let the pictures (and videos) do the talking, but I would like to point out that in this parade, no words or logos are allowed on the floats (to avoid advertising), and also no motorized vehicles are allowed, so all floats must be man-made and pushed/pulled by person, which makes this truly unique. While I’m sure there are other parades that might be similar to this one, I feel like there is truly nothing like the annual Fremont Solstice Parade in Seattle. Not only in America, but all over the world.
WARNING, THERE IS BRIEF NUDITY IN SOME OF THESE PHOTOS, SO PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS AT WORK AND/OR AROUND CHILDREN!!!

And now on to the photos, which begin with the naked/painted bike riders who traditionally stroll through town before the parade begins.
