New Year’s Eve and Las Vegas fit together about as well as anything you can think of. In celebration of the big day this year, Anthony Kiedis and his friends will ring in the night with an intimate performance. The Red Hot Chili Peppers will take the stage in The Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas before midnight. The band’s performance will be shown on the marquee on the Vegas strip throughout its entirety. The Chelsea has hosted some big names in the past for special New Year’s Eve concerts, such as Stevie Wonder and Jay-Z/Coldplay. RHCP will be performing in Las Vegas for the first time in seven years.
The party will kick off at 10PM inside The Chelsea, with the Chili Peppers taking the stage at 11PM. The concert will be played for the whole Las Vegas strip to see, but it will be an exclusive few who will be at the event in person. Tickets will be General Admission with a price tag of $183.25 after fees. These tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster on September 7 at 10AM PST; however, VIP packages will be available before the public onsale. These packages will range from bottle service to room reservations. Tickets are sure to go fast for the event, and the small capacity of The Chelsea assures a higher demand than usual. Use the primary link for a chance at tickets on 9/7! If you don’t get tickets at the initial onsale, you can always visit a secondary site to find tickets for resale.
